The Eurogames are an Olympic style competition open to Gay and Lesbian athletes from around the world. Barcelona is the venue for the Eurogames in 2008.

The Eurogames organisers want to offer a high-quality sport event to the gay and lesbian sports community and plan to fight against discrimination in sport because of sexual preferences. Up to 30,000 people will visit Barcelona and will transform the city for the duration of the games.
