German Band Kraftwerk
German band Kraftwerk took their name from the German word for Powerstation. They were a ground breaking band in what has become known as electropop - using a sound produced largely by multiple synthesisers and drum machines. Vocals - when used were often sung through a voice changing electronic system to create multilayer harmonics.
